21. Tegernseer Tal Montgolfiade

From 1/26/25 to 2/2/25

At the beginning of February all eyes are directed to the sky, because then they float again over the Lake Tegernsee - the around 20 hot air balloons in unusual shapes and colors. There are also balloons to marvel at on the ground, the so-called model balloons impress with their extraordinary shape and inspire especially the smaller visitors.

Note for all spectators who want to watch balloons take off or in the air: Balloon launches usually take place in the time from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.!

The highlight of every Montgolfiade at Tegernsee is the traditional balloon glow with background music on Saturday evening. The flames of the burners make the hot air balloons glow reddish in the evening sky and create a unique atmosphere.
