Tegernseer Hütte

There are huts even higher up in the Bavarian Prealps, but no other in such a spectacular location. In the eagle's nest between the peaks of Roßstein and Buchstein, the Tegernseer Hütte offers hikers and climbers food and lodging at 1650 m. The hut is open from the second weekend in May to the first weekend in November. The dormitory can accommodate up to 30 people. The hut is supplied with solar power and has a rainwater cistern with a modern disinfection system. An ascent from the Bayerwald car park takes about 2 hours.
