Gasthof Alpenwildpark
Bavarian inn right next to the Wallbergbahn valley station, with a large sun terrace that offers space for up to 180 people, a cozy dining room with a fireplace corner for approx. 65 people and a separate parlour called "Jägerstüberl" for approx. 25 people. Specialties are the venison dishes from local forests, trout and char from the ducal fish farm in Wildbad-Kreuth, as well as a large salad menu and homemade cakes. Beers from the Ducal Tegernsee brewery are also sold. It's worth taking a break here after tobogganing, right next to Germany's longest winter toboggan run or after a mountain or bike tour on the Wallberg, as well as for a cozy dinner on the terrace. The inn is family-owned for over 40 years now and landlady Alexandra Wurmser cooks seasonal and regional dishes with body and soul. Non-stop hot meals from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. From 2:00 p.m. on hearty snacks are offered.
