Gästehaus Gutfelder Hof

The Gutfelder Hof is a traditional, freestanding Bavarian homestead in Rottach-Egern s green nook , embedded in farm meadows and with surround views of Mt. Wallberg and the Lower Alps. It is the only building in all of Rottach-Egern which for 250 m on all sides looks onto nothing but green fields and serene nature! Yet its location is also quite central: Within a few minutes s walk, you will reach two popular Bavarian restaurants. After another 2.5 km follows the town centre of Rottach-Egern and the shore of Lake Tegernsee. Also, you can use any of the Tegernsee Valley s RVO bus lines free of cost from a bus stop that is a mere 400 m away from our homestead. In summer, you can easily take off directly from the homestead for a hiking, cycling or mountain biking tour on any level of difficulty. In winter, a cross-country ski track beckons 20 m away from the homestead. Alternatively, you can reach the Spitzingsee ski resort by car or free shuttle bus within mere minutes. We are a family of hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts and happy to assist you with tips for the perfect cycle or hike. The Gutfelder Hof was designed in traditional Bavarian style. It holds a total of 30 beds, divided into apartments, double rooms, single rooms and one ground floor holiday flat. Two cosy breakfast and lounging rooms invite you to relax, one of these holds a tiled stove. On sunny days, the extensive lawns are popular for lounging. Take your seat and we look forward to serving a royal breakfast with all trimmings be it in the breakfast room or, in summer, on our terrace. Guests staying in our holiday apartments can choose between breakfast at the guesthouse or having breakfast rolls delivered to their apartment. Recharge your joy in life, unwind and relax on our extensive laws or in our flowery gardens, where recliners and a large lounge sofa await you. A rustic cabin promises atmospheric indoor hours on bad weather days. Ample free-of-charge parking is available beside the homestead as well as storage space for bicycles, stroller and snow sports equipment. Upon arrival, you will automatically receive your new TegernseeCard, which grants you a 50% discount on Wallbergbahn cable cars, the Montemare lake sauna, the Rottach-Egern lido and pool, Bad Wiessee s Badepark indoor pool and sauna, to the Indoor play-park for kids, the Ödberg summer tobogganing run, various ski lifts and many other attractions.
