Coffee is not just coffee. In the First Tegernsee Coffee Roastery, they can tell you a thing or two about it. There are over 800 different aromas in every coffee bean, after all, coffee grows around the entire equator. In order to elicit its very own taste from the coffee, a master roaster has to be found. He and no one else knows how to find the right roast profile for each variety and how to elicit the various aromas from the coffee beans. Just like in the Tegernsee roastery. Mario Felix Liebold understands the business with the black gold: With him, the coffee specialties are still roasted by hand so that the customer gets the right taste and can practically enjoy the whole world in one cup. So if you've always wanted to go on a world trip, you've come to the right place at the Tegernsee coffee roastery - you'll be spoiled for choice between Ecuador, India, Hawaii or Ethiopia. Of some coffees only a few sacks are exported worldwide each year - and a few of them then find their way to the foot of the Wallberg. Incidentally, with 40 single-variety coffees, the roastery is the only specialty coffee roastery in the entire district of Miesbach and Bad Tölz. Have you already discovered your favorite coffee? In the in-house "Café Felix", you can also taste your own roasts right away - together with a wonderful piece of cake or breakfast! In addition, you will find a large selection of accessories, cups and coffees that can be admired and and be bought. Through the large glass windows, you can watch the roasters at work while enjoying your coffee.
