Boarhof farm shop & café
On the "Baierhof" in Holz, part of Bad Wiessee, you can feast to your hearts content and with good consciousness. Guests can enjoy fresh spreads for the still warm bread from the wood-fired oven, home-made cakes, sausages and cheese of the region and in particular fruits and vegetables from own production. The farm is one of the oldest ones at Lake Tegernsee. It was bought in the 19th century by caster Ferdinand von Miller and is since then in family property. The part Holz is located on a hill at the unspoilt north bank of the lake beween Gmund and Bad Wiessee. In October 2009 family Bogner opened the farm shop. Since beginning of 2010 they have leased the farm and the belonging areas for animal farming and agriculture. The rustic restaurant with regional "Brotzeit" and cake opened in 2012.
